PURPOSE: A method for sealing a plasma display panel is provided to allow for ease of mass production and reduce the thickness of the plasma display panel, while achieving improved performance of the plasma display panel by reducing outgassing of particles. CONSTITUTION: A method for sealing a plasma display panel comprises a first step of fixing an auxiliary glass substrate(20) to the edge of a gas evacuation hole(14), wherein the auxiliary glass substrate is deposited with a silicon(26) and a first electrode(24); a second step of evacuating gases from an upper glass substrate(2) and a lower glass substrate(4) and injecting a discharge gas; and a third step of permitting the silicon to contact a mount glass substrate(22) connected to a second electrode(28), by performing a hot junction. |
