PURPOSE: A graphic user interface system is provided to support various additional functions of TV and display functions required for networking the TV with other electronic products. CONSTITUTION: A graphic user interface system includes a GUI module, a UI engine, and an OSD driver. The GUI module includes a plurality of graphic user interfaces(201a,201b) having forms and contents that are separated from each other. The UI engine(202) interprets a GUI corresponding to a user input. The OSD driver(204) integrates forms and contents of lists interpreted by the UI engine to display the integrated forms and contents on a screen. The plurality of GUIs are constructed in extensible markup languages. The plurality of GUIs include a TV control, an EPG control, an Internet control and a peripheral electronic device control. The UI engine includes an extensible markup language browser. |
