PREPARATION METHOD OF VACUUM HEAT INSULATOR USING LATEX PARTICLE POWDER

PURPOSE: A method for preparing a vacuum insulator by using a latex particle powder is provided, to obtain a vacuum insulator having low thermal conductivity and excellent insulation. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of polymerizing an acid monomer having a carboxyl group and a nonionic hydrophilic monomer to prepare a seed; polymerizing an acid monomer having a carboxyl group, a nonionic hydrophilic monomer and a crosslinking monomer to the seed to form a hydrophobic shell, thereby preparing a core-shell structured latex; swelling the latex with an alkali with controlling the composition ratio of a core component and a shell component and the crosslinking density of a core and a shell to prepare a latex hollow particle having an open cell structure and a pore rate of 70 % or more in vacuum; coagulating and drying the swollen latex particle to prepare a hollow latex powder; and vacuum packaging the latex powder with a gas impermeable film or sheet.
