PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a carbonyl collecting tube capable of simply, highly sensitively, and highly accurately analyzing a carbonyl compound in a gas or water with a low blank value. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the carbonyl compound collecting tube comprises a process for bringing a cation exchanger filled in the tube into contact with a hydrophilic aqueous solvent or a mixed solvent containing it, a process for bringing the cation exchanger brought into contact with the hydrophilic aqueous solvent or the mixed solvent containing it into contact with a compound expressed by formula (wherein, R<1> -R<5> are each a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxyl group, an aryl group, or the like; and R<6> and R<7> are each a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group) or a solution of its salt and holding the compound in the cation exchanger, and a process for cleaning the cation exchanger holding the compound twice or more by the hydrophilic solvent or the mixed solvent containing it. |
