<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method in which sulfurous acid gas in exhaust gas by metal smelting and waste plastics are simultaneously treated and effectively used. SOLUTION: Gas containing sulfurous acid gas is reacted with gas comprising hydrogen or a hydrocarbon, generated in a process where wastes containing a hydrocarbon and/or wastes are treated in other processes, and the sulfurous acid is partially converted into hydrogen sulfide. Thus, a mixed gas of the sulfurous acid and the hydrogen sulfide is formed. The mixed gas is lowered in temperature and subjected to reaction under the conditions of Clause reaction.</p> |
