PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque detection device capable of detecting accurately a running torque by suppressing generation of a detection error caused by the difference of the output characteristic of each magnetic sensor and the difference of an air gap between the sensor and an opposite target. SOLUTION: The magnetic sensors 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B are arranged respectively oppositely to targets 20, 20... provided on the circumferential surface of a target plate 2 fit and fixed respectively on the outside of an input shaft 31 and an output shaft 32. While the targets 20, 20... pass facing positions to the magnetic sensors 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B respectively, the mean value of signals outputted from the magnetic sensors 1A, 1B and 2A, 2B is determined, and correction is performed so that each of signals outputted from the magnetic sensors 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B agrees with the mean value. |
