METHOD OF DETERMINING ORBITS OF SPACECRAFT GROUP UNDER FORMATION NAVIGATION, AND SYSTEM THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine orbits of all the spacecrafts under formation navigation in a short time. SOLUTION: The spacecraft 1-1 of a main spacecraft transmits a GPS reception data 13-1 output from a GPS receiver 10-1 to an orbit determining device 5-1 when a signal 12 is received from a GPS group. A main spacecraft orbit determination-processing part 19 obtains a difference between the GPS reception data 13-1 and a GPS reception data 14 from the same GPS satellite in the same transmission time to determine an orbit the spacecraft 1-1. A spacecraft 1-2 of a sub-spacecraft calculates a relative position with respect to the main spacecraft by a relative position calculator 17-2 based on the GPS reception data 13-1, and a GPS reception data 13-2 output from a GPS receiver 10-2 by receiving the signal 12 transmitted from the GPS satellite same to that in the GPS reception data 13-1 in the same time. A sub-spacecraft orbit determination-processing part 20-2 adds a relative position data 18-2 to a determined data 21 to determine the orbit the sub-spacecraft 1-2.
