PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuous dyeing, by which temperature difference between the temperature of a carpet stuck with an aqueous dyeing solution and temperature in a steamer is made as small as possible and the dyeing solution can smoothly be permeated into the inside of the pile of the carpet composed of BCF (bulky continuous filament) yarn made of PTT. SOLUTION: In providing the continuously moving carpet (1) of the BCF yarn made of a poly(trimethylene terephthalate) with the aqueous dyeing solution by using an application (3), subjecting the carpet to steam heat treatment (4), washing the carpet with water (5), drying the carpet (6) and continuously dyeing the carpet, before the carpet is provided with the aqueous dyeing solution, the carpet is heat-treated at 120-150 deg.C and then subjected to steam heat treatment with saturated steam at 102-150 deg.C for 5-10 minutes. When the aqueous dyeing solution is heated to 45-90 deg.C and used, frosting phenomena can be prevented.
