PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a glass product having same functional characteristics as tourmaline and excellent moldability capable of forming or molding various sizes and shapes and capable of developing various products. SOLUTION: 2 kg of pink tourmaline powders having low grade and 325 mesh of the granular diameter is added to 8 kg of glass raw materials containing silica sand (SiO2 ), soda ash (Na2 CO3 ), limestone (CaCO3 ), minium (Pb3 O4 ), boronic acid (B2 O3 ), borax (Na2 B2 O7 ), cullet, and the like, and mixed uniformly. The mixture is melted and molded in the same processes for manufacturing ordinary glass products, and further it is slowly cooled and taken out from a glass furnace for making a glass ball. As the tourmaline contains very small quantity of boron, a white glass ball can be manufactured.
