摘要 The method involves stimulating (5) mechanical waves in the structure (20) at a first point, measuring the vibrations at other points at a distance from the stimulation point and from each other and deriving the transfer function of the waves from the measured values. The waves are produced by a striking pulse whose pulse shape, esp. the pulse width and height, are set automatically according to a Fourier synthesis. The structure has stimulated mechanical waves with sufficient energy at each frequency whereby the difference between a theoretical dispersion relationship and a value derived from the measurements is minimal.
