An adjustable amulet, or armband, is made from a flat strip of metal shaped into a wavy profile and with the free ends linked by a coupling piece, also of strip metal. The amulet is put one in the extended state and the ends are hooked over each other to secure the fitting. No hinges or additional fasteners are required. The profiled shape has a double S-shape and the coupling piece is secured by rivets.
