Method for control of a mobile station (MS) in a radio communications system in which the station is linked to a further base station (BS) via radio interface (V). For production of a transmission signal by the mobile station limiting transmission parameters are set that allow transmission of a signal over the interface. In the case where the mobile station continuously produces a transmission signal that exceeds preset threshold values, deactivation of the station is triggered. Prior to deactivation of the mobile station an advisory message can be sent to the station.
