<p>In DT 1,222,198, gases are washed with organic, polar water-soluble absorbents, such as methanol or acetone, into insoluble parts, contg. permanent gases, and soluble parts, contg. materials which can be recovered when regenerating the absorbent, which takes several steps, (a) separation in the cold, (b) 2 - column distillation, (c) gradual expansion and/or heating. Pure CO2 is recovered, in present invention, by subdividing the last absorption step into two stages. The last stage is operated with pure absorbent regenerated by expansion and blowing out with inert gas in the cold and pure CO2 is recovered from absorbent by expansion before its use in first stage.</p> |
