PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turntable control method registering, if any, defective work storage parts as ineffective storage parts, skipping the ineffective storage parts, and making effective use of other normal work storage parts. SOLUTION: The control method for a turntable having a plurality of work storage recesses provided on its peripheral edge comprises a first process for recognizing any defects in the work storage recesses 14 by means of a sensor 16, and a second process in which, if defects in the work storage recesses 14 are recognized by the sensor 16 during the first process, the defective storage parts are registered in a file as ineffective storage parts, with the file matching the turntable 13. |
