PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of attaining the volumetric reduction of a battery and a main capacitor by improving a ratio of the volume accumulating energies at first, as for energy-accumulative components. SOLUTION: The camera 10 is provided with a 1st battery 12, a 2nd battery 14 as a secondary battery having a charge voltage higher than that of the 1st battery 12, a charging part 13 with a boosting function, a light emitting part 17, and an intermittent emission control part 16 for controlling the light emitting part 17. And, the 2nd battery 14 is charged from the 1st battery 12 after the voltage of the 1st battery 12 is boosted by the charging part 13. Besides, the light emitting part 17 is controlled by the intermittent emission control part 16 so as to emit the light in accordance with the output of the 2nd charged battery 14.
