PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle information providing device which starts providing information at the best timing depending on the contents of information. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle information providing device changes the timing of starting to provide narration and contents depending on the kind of contents, when providing contents and narration thereof by an event program of which the startup position is determined in advance. A driver is thereby provided with contents at the best timing depending on the kind of contents. In other words, a driver is provided with information at the best timing depending on the kind of information.
