PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake duct for vehicle with small pressure losses and low noise characteristic. SOLUTION: The intake duct comprises a contracted pipe part 1 in which the narrowing angleγof a pipe wall 11 is set within a range of 10-30 deg. with respect to the axis C of the pipe and gradually reduced in a sectional area reducing section A between an air inlet 10 of the sectional area S0 and the narrowest part 3 of the sectional area S1 smaller than the sectional area S0 of the air inlet 10, and a restoring pipe part 2 in which the expanding angleαof a pipe wall 21 is set within 10 deg. with respect to the axis C of the pipe, and gradually expanded, and the sectional area is restored to the sectional area S0 at the downstream end 20 in a sectional area restoring section B toward the downstream direction from the narrowest part 3, and the narrowest part 3 to connect the reduced pipe part 1 of the sectional area reducing section A to the restored pipe part 2 of the sectional area restoring section B is formed in a smoothly curved surface.
