NECK GLASS FOR CATHODE-RAY TUBE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a neck glass for a cathode-ray tube less liable to increase foams in a product glass when the amount of the glass flux is increased without increasing the amount of Sb2 O3 . SOLUTION: The neck glass for a cathode-ray tube has 80 cm<-1> or more of X-ray absorption coefficient at 0.6Åand it is characterized that the neck glass contains 20-40 mass% of PbO, Sb2 O3 , and 0.01-2.0 mass% of CeO2 .
