PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heated tatami improving the efficiency of heat transfer and a distribution of surface temperatures by optimizing the transfer of heat from a heating element to a tatami cover, with excellent cushioning properties and effectively preventing low-heat burns. SOLUTION: An intermediate electric heating band, which comprises at least a heat insulator, a metallic sheet and the heating element, and the tatami cover, are stacked in layers and at least a composite sheet layer is provided between the heating element and the tatami cover.
