PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily specify a location of laser irradiation for ionization. SOLUTION: A pin 42 is provided on the side face on one end side of a supporting table 40 secured with a sample plate 2, a supporting part 44 is provided on a base 21, and the pin 42 is fitted in the hole 46 at the supporting part 44. A rack 48 is provided on the end face of the supporting table 40 on the other end side thereof and meshed with a pinion 50. The rack 48 is pushed up when the pinion 50 turns and the fulcrum of the pin 42, i.e., the supporting base 40, inclines to cause inclination of the sample plate 2. When the sample plate 2 is inclined before or after dispensation of sample solution 8 and the sample solution 8 is dried under that state, crystallization takes place from the inclining lower part and a large quantity of sample is crystallized at the lower position. When a position corresponding to the low position at the time of crystallization is set as the laser irradiating position at the time of mass spectrometry, analysis can be carried out with high sensitivity.
