PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a turbocompressor constituted in three stages, and to facilitate assembling and disassembling. SOLUTION: This turbocompressor has two rotary shafts arranged in parallel having gears for meshing with gears arranged on the rotary shafts connected to an output shaft of a driving motor 1. Impellers are installed on both ends of one rotary shaft to form a first stage compressor 6 and a second stage compressor 7. The impellers are installed on one end side of the other rotary shaft to form a third stage compressor. Intercoolers 30x and 40x and an aftercooler 50x are juxtaposed on the lower side of the respective compressors for cooling operating gas compressed by respective stages. The operating gas is introduced in order of the anti-motor side first stage compressor, the motor side second stage compressor, and the anti-motor side third stage compressor.
