HERMETIC ELECTRIC COMPRESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic electric compressor capable of preventing inconvenience resulting from deformation of an end cap of a hermetic vessel. SOLUTION: This compressor comprises an electric element 14 inside the hermetic vessel 12 and a rotary compression mechanism part 18 driven by the electric element 14. The rotary compression mechanism part 18 discharges a refrigerant into the hermetic vessel 12 by compression. The compressor also comprises a terminal 20 attached to the end cap 12A of the hermetic vessel 12. The end cap 12A surrounding the terminal 20 is formed with a stepped part 12C having a specified curvature by seat-pressing.
