PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the operation of leveling a top end by making it easy to set a top end leveling aid at concrete or mortar, which aid is used in leveling the top end of a foundation during foundation work. SOLUTION: The top end leveling aid is so formed that the aid body with threads on its lower part is attached to a helical, rigid filament in such a manner as to be capable of moving back and forth.
