<p>Isolated nucleic acids molecules, designated 33751 nucleic acid molecules, which encode a human potassium channel family member, are disclosed. The invention also provides antisense nucleic acid molecules, recombinant expression vectors containing 33751 nucleic acid molecules, host cells into which the expression vectors have been introduced, and nonhuman transgenic animals in which a 33751 gene has been introduced or disrupted. Isolated 33751 proteins, fusion proteins, antigenic peptides and anti-33751 antibodies are also disclosed. The invention provides, inter alia, methods of modulating 33751 activity or expression, thereby modulating pain or nociceptive responses in a subject. The invention further provides methods of treating, preventing and diagnosing neural disorders.</p> |
