Combustion engine has a bedding of rotating parts formed as a sliding bearing. The components of the bearing are made from sintered metallic material. Preferred Features: A roller of a roller brake lever of a valve control of the engine is produced from sintered metallic material. A bushing made from sintered metallic material is arranged between a roller and a bolt of the lever. The sintered metallic material is made from molybdenum-phosphorus steel, preferably having a composition containing 1.0-1.6 % carbon (C), 8.0-12.0 % molybdenum (Mo), 0.4-0.8% phosphorus (P), 0.1-0.7% manganese (Mn), maximum 0.05% chromium (Cr) and maximum 0.4% sulfur (S).
