RESET METHOD SUITABLE FOR ADDRESS-WHILE-DISPLAY DRIVING METHOD OF PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE: A reset method suitable for an address-while-display driving method is provided to improve a display performance through an address-while-display driving method and to improve a reliability and a lifetime by relatively lowering an addressing voltage and a display voltage. CONSTITUTION: After the first sub-field corresponding to the first XY electrode pair is ended and the second sub-field starts, at a time(ta-t1) of the first pulse width period(t0-t1) where a negative voltage of the first level is applied to all X electrode lines and simultaneously a positive voltage(Vpb) of the first level is applied to all Y electrode lines, a negative voltage(Vsc) of the second level higher than the first level is applied to an X electrode line of the first XY electrode pair and a positive voltage(Vre) of the third level higher than the first level is applied to a Y electrode line of the first XY electrode pair. There are erased wall charges formed at all discharge cells corresponding to the first XY electrode line pair.
