PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of conducting contents control without loading a labor on a user, and a contents control system using that. SOLUTION: A non-contact IC label data transmitting/receiving part 10 in this refrigerator reads a non-contact IC label preliminarily installed on goods in stock to get control information of the goods in response to detection of opening/closing of a door of the refrigerator by a door opening/closing detecting part 12. Control of the goods in stock is thus conducted based on the control information for the goods in stock thus read. The non-contact IC label data transmitting/receiving part 10 is provided for each of specifically allotted spaces in the refrigerator, and each non-contact IC label data transmitting/receiving part 10 reads control information for goods in stock stored in the space specifically allotted for that. Stored positions of goods in stock are thus grasped.
