<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement compressor capable of efficiently suppressing the escape of a large amount of lubricating oil in a crank chamber by a simple and inexpensive configuration, ensuring a proper remaining amount of lubricating oil in the crank chamber securely to improve the durability of the compressor, and preventing the circulation of a large amount of lubricating oil in a circuit to suppress power loss. SOLUTION: In this variable displacement compressor having a communicating passage capable of communicating the crank chamber with a suction side, a part led into the crank chamber in the communicating passage is composed of a hole provided in a housing partitioning at least a part of the crank chamber and a hole formation part connected with the hole, protruding and extending like a pipe into the crank chamber, and opened into the crank chamber.</p> |
