PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a cylinder head cover tightening part which simplifies the parts control in an engine manufacturing line and improves the assembly workability. SOLUTION: The structure comprises a tightening member (a long nut 4) to be screwed with a member (a stud bolt 2) integrated with a cylinder head, a first retainer (an upper retainer 5) provided on the tightening member, a seal member (7) locked to a cylinder head cover (1), a second retainer (a lower retainer 8) provided on the seal member, a spring member (a coil spring 9) held between the first and second retainers, and a holding means provided between the seal member and the tightening member for making the seal member and the tightening member hold each other with the spring member in a natural length. Since the seal member and the tightening member are mutually held with the spring member held between the first and second retainers, these members is integrally and temporarily assembled.
