PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary compressor capable of preventing slipping-out of a bush with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This rotary compressor 10 is formed by arranging a motor- driven element 14 and a rotary compression element 32 driven by the motor- driven element in a sealed vessel 12, and is provided with a lower cylinder 40 for constituting the rotary compression element, a lower support member 56 blocking the opening surface of the lower cylinder, and having a bearing of a rotary shaft 16, a bush 123 inserted and arranged in the bearing 56A of the lower support member, and interposed between the rotary shaft and the bearing, a discharge muffling chamber 64 formed in the lower support member, and communicating with the cylinder inside, and a lower cover 68 installed on the lower support member, and blocking the opening part on the opposite side of the cylinder of the discharge muffling chamber. The end surface on the opposite side of the cylinder of the bush is held by the lower cover.
