PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely couple upper and lower panels together by using a coupling member, while keeping the panels in a parallel state without reference to the parallelism of upper and lower opening grooves. SOLUTION: In a structure for coupling the panels together, the panels are vertically arranged in such a manner that an upper opening, which is formed at a lower edge of the upper panel and opened downward, and a lower opening, which is formed at an upper edge of the lower panel and opened upward, are made to face each other; and the upper and lower panels are coupled together in a state in which upper and lower fitting parts get into the upper and lower openings, respectively, via the coupling member which is equipped with the upper fitting part for getting into the upper opening and the lower fitting part for getting into the lower opening. In the coupling member, a flange part, which is projected in the circumferential direction of the coupling member, is provided between the upper and lower fitting parts, and held in a state sandwiched between a lower end face of the upper panel and an upper end face of the lower panel, so that a prescribed interval can be maintained between the lower end face of the upper panel and the upper end face of the lower panel.
