The support (2) can be fitted onto the understructure (4) of building, e.g. rafters of roof. It contains a plate-shaped element, while its underside fits to the shape of the understructure for a tight fit. The support top side forms a profile for supporting the solar modules, or laminates. Typically the support comprises straight wall elements (10) located on main surface (6) of the plate-shaped element. Independent claims are included for a roof or facade, contg. the support.
