PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulosic fiber which has a good oil-repelling property, a good stain-resistant property and an excellent water-absorbing property imparted thereto and further which has the excellent washing durability of the properties, and to provide a method for producing the cellulosic fiber. SOLUTION: This cellulosic fiber having the good oil-repelling property, the good stain-resistant property and the excellent water-absorbing property is obtained by imparting a fluorine-containing oligomer represented by formula (I) to a cellulosic fiber. The cellulosic fiber further has the excellent washing durability of the properties. The method for producing the cellulosic fiber is characterized by impregnating a cellulosic fiber with 40 to 100 wt.% of water, alcohol or a alcohol solution containing 0.1 to 20 wt.% of a fluorine-containing oligomer of formula (I) or further 0.1 to 20 wt.% of a crosslinking agent, and then drying or thermally treating the impregnated cellulosic fiber. |
