PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce an energy loss of an oil pump by controlling a supply amount of lubricating oil to a minimum as required according to an operating state of a belt type continuously variable transmission. SOLUTION: The energy loss of the transmission efficiencyηof the belt type continuously variable transmission is regarded as heat energy converted by heating caused by friction of a transmission belt or the like, and the supply amount QOIL of operating oil for lubricating a belt is controlled based on the transmission efficiencyηwhich varies according to the operating state of the belt type continuously variable transmission. By this, lubrication of the belt can be always equally and properly controlled to a different heating amount according to the operating state, and the energy loss of the oil pump caused by excessive supply of the lubricating oil is reduced, as a result, the fuel consumption is improved. |
