PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a foam having a high expansion ratio and excellent heat insulation characteristics by a simple process without using a chemical substance harmful for an environment as a foaming agent. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the foam comprises the steps of foam curing a foam raw material made of a thermosetting or photosetting resin and a curing agent and forming the foam. The method further comprises (1) a step of preparing the foam raw material, (2) a step of pretreating the foam raw material, (3) a step of mixing a gas in the foam raw material and dispersing the gas in the foam raw material, and (4) a step of placing the gas- mixed and dispersed raw material under a reduced pressure, and foam molding. The foam manufactured by the method is provided. |
