PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comparatively inexpensive belt twist prevention structure for preventing lowering of flatness at the time of extension of a carrying belt within an image forming device such as a PPC, a FAX, an LP and a printer when applying tension force and improving image quality. SOLUTION: A twist prevention guide member 1 constituted of many guide members 2 is disposed on an inner peripheral side of the carrying belt 11 mounted between a driving roller 12 and a driven roller 13 and receiving tension force. The guide member 2 is fixed to the carrying belt 11 side, the guide member 2 follows the carrying belt 11, even if the carrying belt 11 is extended, stress is interrupted and the carrying belt 11 side is not adversely affected. As a result, flatness and position accuracy are held to improve image quality.
