摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve clearance adjusting mechanism wherein the number of part items is smaller, and no adjusting work is necessary at the state that a rocker arm is assembled. SOLUTION: Since a valve unit 10 is assembled by previously preparing a plurality kind of rocker arm 20A and 20B, wherein an adjusting dimension Sa and Sb between a valve contacting section 25A and 25B in the oscillating direction of the rocker arm 20A and 20B and a cam contacting section 21 are different from each other by selecting one having a suitable adjusting dimension among them, an exclusive parts for adjusting a valve clearance becomes unnecessary and the number of parts becomes less. Also, since the rocker arm 20A and 20B having the suitable adjusting dimension Sa and Sb are merely assembled and the valve clearance Ca and Cb become as adjusted, there is no need to do the adjusting work except an assembly of the rocker arm 20A and 20B.
