PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a light source device to a light source holding member without giving damage to it, and to hardly cause positional deviation even when environment such as the temperature is fluctuated or an impact force is applied. SOLUTION: When a tapered member 43 is press-fit in a tapered member insertion hole 48 formed near a stepped hole 46 for holding the semiconductor laser light source 41 of a base body 42, the peripheral wall part of the hole 48 is pressed and widened, whereby the outer periphery of the flange part 41b of the light source 41 is pressed against the wall surface of the hole 46 and fixed.
