PURPOSE: An electric scalp massaging apparatus is provided which offers conveniency in use and is portable since the procedure of facilitating blood circulation and strengthening hair roots by massaging scalps is automatically carried out by a simple operation. CONSTITUTION: A case is composed of a handle portion(11) and a head portion and has a receiving space of a predetermined size therein. A power source(31) is mounted within the case and is filled with a power supplied from the outside. A driving unit(20) is composed of a motor(21) mounted within the case and rotated by a power supplied according to a driving signal and a power conversion unit for converting the rotary motion of the motor into a translational motion in a direction perpendicular to scalps. A massaging member(40) has one end coupled to the power conversion unit and massages the scalps as it reciprocates in the direction perpendicular to the scalps.
