PURPOSE: A system for compressing gas is provided to suppress vibration and noise due to driving of a motor and a compressor. CONSTITUTION: A system includes a compressor(C); a motor(M) having a cooling fan(14) placed on an end of a rotary shaft(12); at least two cylindrical compression tanks(T1,T2,T3,T4) connected by tubes(P1,P2,P3,P4,P5) so that high temperature compressed gas discharged from the compressor passes in order; vibration absorbing rubbers(18,18',20,20') inserted to be spaced between the compression tanks for the compressor and the motor to be mounted thereon; and a power transmission part including idle pulleys(38,40), power transmission belts(44,44') and a tension control member to reduce rotating velocity of rotary force of the rotary shaft so as to transmit to a driving shaft(16) of the compressor.
