PURPOSE: A producing method for a metal gasket is provided to improve a watertight function of the metal gasket by preventing drop during a process of spraying rubber around a cylinder hole, a coolant passage and an oil passage. CONSTITUTION: An outer shape of metal sheet is formed without a hole for a metal gasket. A bead is formed to an outer peripheral surface and other portions. The sheet formed the bead is washed primarily. The washed sheet is treated with heat. The sheet is washed secondarily. The sheet is coated with rubber after washing. A vulcanizing process is operated to vulcanize coated rubber of the sheet. The sheet is coated with rubber secondarily after the vulcanizing process. A semi vulcanizing process is operated to vulcanize coated rubber. A piercing process is operated to form a cylinder hole, an oil passage and a coolant passage on the sheet. Thereby, rubber drop is not formed around several holes of the metal gasket.
