<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sealed lightweight can that is excellent in sealing and cap-opening capabilities and designability, and with all the foregoing, is light in weight. SOLUTION: In the heat-sealed thin-walled lightweight can wherein a heat-seal lid 3 provided with a heat-sealant layer on its inside is heat-bonded to the edge of the aperture of a can body 1 consisting of thin metal plate, the can body 1 is provided with a curled part 2 outwardly curled at the edge of the aperture of its cylindrically formed body part 4, the form of which curled part 2 is obtained in such a way that a flange part is first formed at the edge of the aperture of the cylindrically formed body part, and then the flange part is formed into a seam-folded part 7 that is skewed at an acute angle with respect to a plane along the radial direction of the body part and in the direction in which it goes back from the aperture, after which the seam-folded part 7 is formed into the curled part, provided with a top part 6 with an arc-form section having in its interior a form inclined in the direction in which it approaches the edge of the aperture at an acute angle with respect to the plane along the radial direction of the body part 4.</p> |
