PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a poly(butene-1) which imparts softening properties, and has excellent moldability or the like and an excellent physical properties balance while retaining heat resistance, and to provide a production method of the poly(butene-1) and a molding thereof. SOLUTION: The poly(butene-1) has a melting point (TmP) of>=80 deg.C defined using a differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), an intrinsic viscosity of 0.5-4.0 [η](dl/g), and a relationship of the melting point (TmP) ( deg.C) and a melting endotherm (ΔHP) (J/g), which is represented by the formula: TmP>3.07ΔHP+3. The poly(butene-1) is produced using a two crosslinked metallocene catalyst, and a Ti-Mg type catalyst or a non-two crosslinked metallocene catalyst. |
