PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition that has less alien transparent substance mixed and is superior in transparency, an appearance of a molding, heat resistance, weather resistance and mechanical strengths such as elongation at break and impact strength. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition comprises an aromatic polycarbonate, a heat stabilizer, and a UV absorbent and a releasing agent as required. The aromatic polycarbonate is made by the molten polymerization of an aromatic dihydroxyl compound and a diester carbonate compound, characterized in that the number of the alien transparent substances of 10μm or larger (N: number/g unit) and the viscosity average molecular weight (Mv) satisfy the following relationship (1) or (2): when Mv<=21000, N<=exp(6.824×10<-4>×Mv-8.626) (1), when Mv>21000, N<=exp(8.514×10<-5>×Mv+3.916) (2).
