PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct moving actuator which can improve stiffness for excessive or deflective load applied to a sliding body and keep a stable sliding characteristics for a long time, and also restore to the optimal sliding characteristics by adjusting clearance easily even in case that abrasion has been generated. SOLUTION: A sliding body 15 is equipped with a ball screw having a square figured section and inserting a screw shaft 23 into it, and a slide plate 18, 19 are equipped with both sides of upper surface of the sliding body 15. The sliding body 15 is equipped on a base plate 11 for the guide portion of the sliding body, a guide plate 14 is equipped between side plates 18 and 19, and the side plates 18, 19 and the sliding body 15 are made slidable along the guide plate 14 in a way that the sliding body 15 is held between the upper and the lower sides. A plate shaped sliding members 16, 17, 20, 21 are put in the sliding portion between the sliding body 15 as well as side plates 18, 19 and the sliding body guide portions.
