PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the waterproof performance against an operation cable by hardly carrying a water from a mating surface between a lever bracket and a handle lever into the operation cable. SOLUTION: A base 24 of the handle lever 6 is pivotally mounted on a lever mounting portion of the lever bracket 3 provided on a bar handle, one end of the operation cable 7 is mounted on the base 24, and the operation cable 7 is passed through a cable holding portion 11 of the lever bracket 3. The mating surface of the cable holding portion 11 to the base 24 consists of a mating portion 16 as a recessed portion provided in the side of the cable holding portion 11 and a protruded portion 30 provided on the base 24 for fitting the mating portion 16. A labyrinth structure is formed between the mating portion 16 and the protruded portion 30 followed by a stepped portion 31 during fitting.
