PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control whether a steel pipe pile has reached the supporting ground when embedding a steel pipe pile having a spiral vane at the tip by observing a torque value and the amount of penetration when embedding the pile by rotation. SOLUTION: When embedding the steel pipe pile 1 by rotating the steel pipe pile 1 having a spiral vane 3 at the tip, the torque value for rotating the steel pipe pile 1 and the amount of penetration of the steel pipe pile 1 are observed; when the torque value is at least a predetermined value corresponding to the diameter of the steel pipe pile 1 and N-value of the supporting ground, or when the amount of penetration gets to at least a predetermined value (for instance, not more than 1/3 of the stroke of the vane or not more than the preset length), then the steel pipe pile is controlled as the pile 1 has reached the bearing ground having a predetermined N-value. |
