<p>Bulked nonwoven, has a number of overlaid carded webs, together with inserted polyurethane foam pieces and/or granules, between upper and lower outer nonwoven layers. The bulked nonwoven, of synthetic or natural fibers, has a number of carded webs in overlaid layers between nonwoven upper and lower sides. Polyurethane foam is inserted into the separate nonwoven layers as flockings, sticks or rhomboids and the like. Or granules can be inserted in layers e.g. active carbon, cork, plant seeds, bentonite, etc. The foam and/or granules are inserted mechanically into alternate layers. Fusible fibers are included in the nonwoven composition, for bonding in addition to needling.</p> |
