PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antitheft system which prevents burglar from being committed easily and is inexpensive. SOLUTION: The antitheft system for a construction machine is characterized in that a receiving unit mounted to a construction machine is made capable of receiving a radio wave from a particular transmitting unit and is also made capable of being driven within a range where the radio wave from the transmitting unit can be directly received.
