PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece having a movement coping with various kinds of products. SOLUTION: The first arrangement area for arranging an intermediate wheel for decelerating torque by a stepping motor 121 to be transmitted to a second pointer wheel 123, and the second arrangement area for arranging an intermediate wheel for decelerating torque by a stepping motor 131 to be transmitted to a minute hand wheel 134 and an hour hand wheel 136 are arranged opposedly using as the center a hand shaft area where the hour hand wheel 136, the minute hand wheel 134 and the second pointer wheel 123 are arranged coaxially, and a minute hand wheel and hour hand wheel position detecting gear 133 meshed with the minute hand wheel 134 is arranged in a position meshed with a pinion 1230 provided in a minute hand wheel 123' used instead of the minute hand wheel 123, when the three of the hour hand wheel 136, the minute hand wheel 134 and the second pointer wheel 123 are driven by the stepping motor 121 only. |
